MP9-21021K EC Capacitor – 3×64μF, 690VAC / 1100VDC, Designed for ABB Drives

The MP9-21021K is a high-reliability, three-section metallized polypropylene (EC) film capacitor specifically engineered for AC/DC link applications in industrial variable frequency drives (VFDs). It features three independent 64 μF sections (total 192 μF per unit, wired in parallel or configurable as 3-phase input filter), rated for continuous operation at 690 VAC (50/60 Hz) and peak DC voltage up to 1100 VDC. Its robust construction includes self-healing dielectric, low ESR, high ripple current capability, and flame-retardant epoxy resin encapsulation (UL 94 V-0). Optimized for integration into ABB ACS800, ACS880, and similar modular drive systems, it ensures stable DC bus filtering, reduced harmonic distortion, and extended service life under demanding thermal and dynamic load conditions. Mounting: M5 screw terminals; Operating temperature: −40°C to +70°C (derated above +60°C); Lifetime: ≥100,000 hours at rated voltage and ≤60°C ambient.
